Guidelines

Guidelines for Submission:

  1. Original Content – The submission must be an original work of the author/s. The submission must not be previously published or currently under review for publication at any other platform and may not be submitted to another platform while in process of review with us. A disclosure regarding your paper not shared elsewhere for publication is required in the cover letter.
  2. Collaborative Submissions – A submission could be a collaborative work of a maximum of three authors.
  3. Non-derogatory content – Submission should not contain any derogatory or defamatory statements against any individual or institution.
  4. Abstract – Submission of research papers and articles must be accompanied with an abstract of not more than 200 words.
  5. Footnote formatting – The footnoting to be done in accordance with the 21st Edition of the Bluebook Citations.
  6. Copyright – Copyright over the published content shall vest solely with the “International Journal of Justice”.
  7. Anonymous Submission – A separate cover letter mentioning the name(s) of the author(s), e-mail id, mobile number, the title of the manuscript and the name of institution, shall be sent along with the submission. There should be no mention of authors name or any other identity in the original manuscript.
  8. Author’s Photo – Authors have the option to submit their coloured/black & white passport size photo in .jpg or .jpeg format as an attachment in the email.
  9. Submission Format – All submissions must be made in .doc or .docx format.

Guidelines for Formatting:
All submissions must strictly adhere to following formatting guidelines. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject submissions after a preliminary review if the prescribed formatting guidelines are not adhered to.

For the body of manuscript:
Font                  : Times New Roman
Font size          : 12 pts.
Line spacing    : 1.5
Alignment        : Justified

For Footnotes:
Font                 : Times New Roman
Font Size         : 10 pts.
Line Spacing   : 1

Footnoting: For all the categories of submissions, proper footnotes are mandatory. Submissions should not contain any hyperlinks.

Submit your paper via email to submissions@theijj.com with the subject as “Submission of (mention the category) for the IJJ (Vol.1)”.
